LONDON Striker Paolo Wanchope has vowed to win back his place at English Premier League club Manchester City a day after being put on the transfer list.

Wanchope clashed with Manager Joe Royle on Saturday when the Costa Rican was substituted in City's FA Cup fourth round victory over Coventry and he was made available after a meeting on Monday.

"As far as Paolo's concerned it's the manager's decision and he's disappointed," Wanchope's agent told **** Guardian **** on Tuesday.

"But Paolo will continue to train and hope things resolve themselves. He still thinks he has a future at the club and hopes that things turn around for him," he added.

The 24-year-old has scored nine times for City since his 3.65 million pounds ($5.32 million) transfer from West Ham United last year.
